My name is Philip John Burgess, and I am the proud
teacher of 5W 2012.
I am 39, and live in Cardiff. My wife's name is
Amanda and we have two boys; Luka (nearly 4) and Tom (18 months).
When I am not teaching you can find me out and
about with my family or working on our house that we are renovating (18 month project). We moved up from Sydney last year as a matter of lifestyle and
could not be happier.
Since leaving school in 1990, I worked in retail
for 12 years and travelled widely. I have a deep affinity for Nepal and its
culture. In 2003 I became a full-time uni student at Macquarie University where
I completed a double degree in Psychology and Education.
